Genital warts are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) which is an STI. If you think that you might have genital warts, be aware that it is contagious and can be transmitted to your partner through physical contact. Birth control pills like Yasmin do not offer protection against genital warts, so go see a doctor and get it checked out before you risk infecting your partner.
What do they look like?
Genital warts can vary in appearance. Some can be small, flat, skin colored bumps, while others can be very small bumps that take the shape of cauliflower. Genital warts for men can grow on the penis, close to the anus, or between the scrotum and the penis. In women, genital warts can grow on the vulva or in the perineal area, or in the vagina or on the cervix. Genital warts can vary in size and can even be so small that you may not even be aware that they are there.
What does it mean?
If you have genital warts or suspect that you might, go see a doctor immediately. Caused by HPV, genital warts can be dangerous as HPV is linked to some cancers including cancer of the vulva and penis. Your doctor may be able to diagnose genital warts just by seeing them, and can track cervical changes in women by doing a pap smear. Diagnosing genital warts can be difficult because it has a long incubation period. This means that it can be months after you are infected before you notice any symptoms, and women sometimes do not notice any symptoms at all as genital warts can grow inside the vagina.
The good news is that genital warts can be treated. Don’t try to treat them yourself, it’s best to get it seen to professionally. Your doctor may recommend having them removed. Never use over the counter wart removing chemicals in the genital area.

Most women who take “the pill” (an oral contraceptive pill, like Yasmin birth control) take it for one reason and one reason only: to protect against an unwanted pregnancy. But did you know that birth control pills offer health benefits as well? In fact, did you know that some women take the pill even when they’re not sexually active simply so that they can benefit from other of its uses?
Start appreciating the surprising side effects of your birth control pill, like the following:
1. Buy Yasmin or another oral contraceptive and you’ll reduce your risk (forever) of ovarian and endometrial cancers. And the numbers are staggering-if you take the pill for 10 years, you’ll reduce your risk by 80%! Also, while you’re taking the pill, you’ll reduce your risk of cervical cancer.
2. Birth control pills can actually help your mood. The hormones in pills like Yasmin can help reduce mood swings from many women, though for some it actually serves as a depressant. If one pill is making you moody, try switching to another-after a few tries you may successfully find your happy pill.
3. It will regulate your period. Many women go on the pill if they have irregular periods. The stabilizing hormones in the pill make predicting your period easy, usually to the day, but for some women, to the hour!
4. It will clear up your skin. Certain oral contraceptives help more than others. Buy Yasmin online and you’ll save money by buying birth control and acne medication in one!
5. Some oral contraceptives will reduce menstrual cramps. If you experience PMS or PMDD, then your doctor may suggest that you take birth control pills, even if you’re not sexually active. Almost every woman surveyed who took the pill for this reason, claimed that her cramps reduced from extremely painful to manageable or barely there within just a month.
