Generic Viagra vs. Name Brand Viagra
Often the question arises – what is the difference between name brand Viagra and generic Viagra. Both contain the same chemical building blocks and active ingredient, Sildenafil Citrate, used to combat erectile dysfunction. Both generic and name brand do the same thing – it increases the blood flow to the penis, resulting in a harder, more pleasurable erection and improved sexual response for a long period of time. Both combat male impotence. So the question becomes, what is the difference and is there a difference?
They are both safe and reliable – the only difference is the name of the drug. Just like name brand Viagra, generic Viagra needs to be taken up to 30 minutes prior to sexual activities with your partner and has an effective rate of 4-6 hours while combating erectile dysfunction. Follow the same precautions when using generic Viagra as you would with brand name Viagra. You need to understand the various side effects as well as discuss with your primary care physician before taking generic Viagra what medication you take and if they are safe to take with generic Viagra (you cannot mix nitrates or other ED medications, like Cialis Daily, with Viagra). If you follow the same guidelines, generic Viagra will work exactly the same!
But we still have not found a difference yet! Where is it?
The only real difference between generic Viagra and name brand Viagra is in the price tag! Brand name Viagra tends to be more expensive than its generic counterpart because brand name carries the premium tag. Generic Viagra can be purchased at a fraction of the cost of brand name Viagra, is more accessible (you can get Viagra online without a prescription) and still give you the same results in regards to treating impotence.
Please note – before taking any prescription medications, it is recommended that you consult with your doctor or primary health channel.
